Continuing developments in the global markets for cosmetics and wellness products bring along new challenges as well as opportunities for companies. L.A. Schmitt from Ludwigsstadt is facing them by making several key decisions.
As of 1 March 2018, Ivo Petschke (47) has taken over as managing director from Manfred Stöver (67), who started his well-deserved retirement. Mr Petschke has been working for the company as Head of Marketing and Sales since 2013. He will remain responsible for these departments and thus provide customers and partners with a reliable point of contact. Consequently, Martina Löffler (51) has been granted individual power of attorney. Mrs Löffler has been in charge of Accounting and Administration at L.A. Schmitt since 1992.
In the course of the change in management, further tasks were assigned to in-house junior executives: Dominic Wich (27) is now Senior Production Manager and Cindy Rauch (31) Senior Lab Technician. This move will preserve established channels of decision-making in order to guarantee continued flexibility and efficacy within the company.
The new executive team at L.A. Schmitt is looking forward to working with established as well as new customers and partners, whose satisfaction remains our primary goal.
